About Callaghan Mortuary & Livermore
We have been serving the local community for over 100 years. Callaghan Mortuary was established and privately owned since 1906 by the Reimers Family. The mortuary was located on the corner of 2nd Street and South L Street in downtown Livermore. In the mid 1940's the Reimers family sold to Leo and Frances Callaghan. In 1959 with new growth establishing in Livermore the Callaghan family decided to build a new facility on East Avenue where we continue to serve our families today.
