About Evergreen Memorial Park
The beautiful mountain property that would become Evergreen Memorial Park was originally purchased as a private park in 1965 by Ron and Carol Lewis. Ron and Carol committed the 100-acre site as a tribute to the pioneers of Evergreen and the Old West.
Services offered by Evergreen Memorial Park
Modern Funeral Services: It is becoming more and more common for families to choose cremation with a celebratory memorial service. The service may take place at the graveside or may be held later. Some families choose to keep the ashes while other may scatter the ashes at place of their choosing.
Traditional Funeral Services: This usually includes a viewing or visitation, formal funeral service, use of a hearse to transport the body to the cemetery, and burial or entombment. This may include embalming and dressing if requested.
Direct Burial: The body is buried shortly after death usually in a simple container; no viewing or visitation is involved so embalming is not necessary. A memorial service may be held at the graveside or later.
Should you be interested in preplanning your burial, you can be sure your legacy will be preserved and that you may have peace of mind. This location has proudly served the local community with exceptional care for years and can help guide your family through memorial etiquette, individualize your tribute, funeral costs, directions to cemeteries, guestbook, online obituary creation, and telling your life story.
