About Indiana Funeral Care & Crematory
I bought Harry W. Moore Funeral Chapels (our family business years ago) from a large public company in 2001. Based on experience and knowledge gained from traveling the country in funeral service, it was clear that a low cost funeral and cremation alternative was not available in central Indiana like it is other parts of the U.S. So we turned the business model upside down. Sold all the locations except one, thereby substantially lowering our overhead, built a private crematory and opened Indiana Funeral Care. We then printed color brochures with easy to understand package pricing and posted those low prices on our website. By using churches, Legion and VFW Posts and public buildings for services anywhere central Indiana, we bring high quality, personal service to a familiar and special place and save families thousands of dollars. Pastor’s, priests, hospice social workers and chaplains discovered our compassionate service at price levels far below traditional funeral homes and started referring families to us. We are grateful that Indiana Funeral Care and Cremation is the fastest growing funeral service provider in Indiana now serving over 600 families annually.
