From the protective canopy of the centennial oaks lining its entrance to the classic architecture of our Family Center, Oak Lane instills a strong sense of significance. It is our duty and honor to share with all of Ascension this unique opportunity to enjoy Ascension Parish’s most beautiful setting.
We will always be surrounded by life in our perpetual care cemetery. Oak Lane Memorial Park began serving the people of Ascension Parish as a 21st century cemetery in May 2009 with the potential for more than 28,000 spaces. We offer interment options in the picturesque Oak Alley garden, and are in the planning process to open several more gardens in the very near future, as well as crypts, columbaria, “Baby Land”, scattering garden for ashes, niches, memorial plaques for loved ones who are at final rest at another location, and a variety of price and financing options.
Services offered include traditional gravesite burial, Family Service Counselors dedicated to serving you and your family, and a flexible staff to accommodate special needs and wishes for non-traditional memorials of loved ones. The staff at Oak Lane Memorial Park stands ready to help honor your loved one with sensitivity and experience. We will manage all the necessities and explain your options. This includes individual as well as dual internment in several choices of above ground or earthen burial.
For those preferring cremation, arrangements are also very flexible. The widest possibilities of all, though, are offered with prearrangement and include family estate lots, customized financing and highly personalized construction.
