In addition to arranging every detail related to your loved one's services, we provide other services that help to make the transition easier for your family. Some of the services that we provide our families with are:
Laminated Obituaries: As a token of our appreciation we provide the immediate family with several laminated obituaries.
Photo Tribute on DVD: For those families that wish, a photographic tribute DVD is compiled by us for viewing during the evening viewing and the funeral service.
Notification of Social Security: At the time of death we notify the local Social Security Administration Office of the death, so that you do not have to. Generally in a short period of time Social Security will contact you to: either set up an appointment for you at the Social Security Office or they will proceed with a telephone interview. Because we provide this service you do not need to provide a certified death certificate to the Social Security Administration. Certified Copies of the Death Certificate: We also acquire the required number of certified death certificates needed to take care of the deceased's estate. The cost for death certificates in $6.00 per certified copy. For those that need additional death certificates you can contact us and we can make application to obtain more death certificates for you or you can go directly to the Dept. of Health's website and order more, for which there is a cost of $9.00. For on-line orders a credit card is required and there is an additional processing charge. For veterans or there families, the fee for additional copies may be waived.
