In 1938, Daniel “Dan” Young and his wife, Grace Perry Young, opened their first funeral home in Monroe, GA serving Walton & surrounding counties. In 1961, a second funeral home, purchased from Sanford Funeral Home, was opened in Covington, GA. Under the auspices of daughter, Ariel Young Sullivan, and granddaughter, Dana Sullivan Levett, the Covington facility underwent renovations in 1995, and a new facility was built in Monroe in 2000.
