Ferdinand is a city in Idaho County, Idaho, United States. The population was 159 at the 2010 census, up from 145 in 2000. At the southern end of the Nez Perce Indian Reservation, it was founded by F.M. Bieker shortly after the reservation was opened for settlement in 1895. It was named after Ferdinand, Indiana, where his mother's family had lived.

The city is at an elevation of 3720 feet (1124 m) AMSL sea level on the Camas Prairie#Idaho Prairie, and is within the Nez Perce#Nez Perce Indian Reservation Perce Indian Reservation, near its southern border. Ferdinand is a city in Idaho County, Idaho County, Idaho, United States. The highway was re-routed in the 1990s and now bypasses the city on its east side.
Northbound US Route 95 in Idaho Highway 95 was formerly routed westward through town as Main Street, then resumed northward toward Lawyers Creek Canyon. Two miles (3 km) north of Ferdinand, the highway passed underneath an impressive timber railroad trestle ([http://www.panoramio.com/map/#lt=46.183515&ln=-116.390705&z=4&k=2&a=1&tab=1 photos]) of the Camas Prairie Railroad.
