The Julseth family, as well as the Nelson family owned large farm operations and were vital in the settling and development of early Brandon. Brandon is a city in Douglas County, Minnesota County, Minnesota, United States. Many families are known to have had great influence on the town. Major events included moving the town closer to the rail road tracks from its former location between lakes Little Chippewa and Devils. The town was formally organized in 1881.
