First Memorial Funeral Chapels, originally Waterston Funeral Home, was founded in 1955 by Leo and Jean Waterston at 4343 Nicollet Ave. in South Minneapolis. Over 50 years later and now in its 3rd generation of family funeral directors and ownership, our main chapel still occupies the same location. Since 1955, First Memorial has provided our community with affordable and professional funeral services for all religious, ethnic and social backgrounds.
